IT Support Engineer

  • First level support over the telephone.
  • Troubleshooting - desktop and laptop problems.
  • Troubleshooting - Networking problems.
  • Installing and configuring printers, switches and other peripherals.
  • Admin Active Directory Users.
  • Team Player.
  • Highly self-motivated and customer-centric.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • In depth understanding and experience of either SDLC (Systems development life cycle) or PDLC (Product life-cycle management).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Network + Certification or equivalent experience/knowledge.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laser printers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/email with clients, managers, and vendors.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a production environment.
  • Inventory management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.
  • A great deal of self-responsibility.
  • A position of responsibility in a highly motivated and talented team.
  • Flat hierarchy as well as open communication.
  • A stack of the latest technologies.
